Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club at the end of this season, the club has confirmed.
In a statement released by the club on its official website, the Italian will leave after 5 years in charge, and as many Serie A trophies.
“Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/2020 season,” the statement read.
“The coach and the President, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at tomorrow’s press conference – Saturday 18 May, at 2pm in the press conference hall of Allianz Stadium.”
Since joining Juventus from AC Milan in 2014, Allegri has won four consecutive domestic doubles between 2015 and 2018, the only coach to achieve this feat in the top 5 European leagues, while also guiding Juventus to two Champions League Finals, where he lost to Barcelona and Real Madrid in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
