Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, has condemned what he described as “the collective alienation and penalization of the People of the South East”.
According to the lawmaker in a tweet from his official Twitter handle, the act is “provocative” and can turn out to be a threat to the nation.
Sani explains that alienation of a people simply because of the Political opinions and choices is not a good thing to do.
He noted that arguements for the sustainability of such acts should be discarded because it will definitely lead to anarchy and ultra nationalism.
He wrote: “To Justify the collective alienation & penalization of the People of the South East on the ground of their political opinions or choices is an act of provocation and threat to national stability in a fragile nation. Such arguments will embolden anarchists and ultra nationalists.”
