Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Leader, APC Bayelsa State Chapter, Timipre Sylva, says that Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, former Deputy-Governor elect, is on the verge of committing suicide.
The former governor made this known on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television.
Discussingng issues around the Bayelsa Governorship judgement on Monday, Silva noted that he is dealing with a case of between “life and death.”
He said, “I am now dealing with a former Deputy-Governor that is on the verge of committing suicide. So this is a matter of life and death.”
On the Supreme Court’s decision to sack David Lyon of APC over his deputy’s certificate naming inconsistencies, Silva said “Which certificate did he forge? Was it his primary certificate or university certificate? What has been established?”
He stressed that “There is a lot of misinformation in the public domain on this issue.”
