In a bid to regain the chairmanship position of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), ousted Chairman, Victor Oye has filed seven cases across several different courts, mostly in villages and riverine areas.
At least, cases have been filed either by him or his cronies in courts in Bauchi, Abia, Delta, Oyo, Imo, Anambra and Jigawa states.
Reacting to the development, Secretary APGA Stakeholders Forum, Elder John Emeka urged the Appeal Court sitting in Kano to “end these madness that Oye have unleashed on our Nations Judiciary in a bid to upturn the popular desires of Anambra and APGA People.”
Emeka in a statement said Soludo and Gov.Obiano’s biggest mistake is “putting their fate in the hand of a trader in Ariaria market who never did well as a trader in second hands clothes”
He urged Governor Obiano as a leader of the party to embrace Chuma Umeoji who worked to help deliver Obiano’s 2nd term and ready to move the party and the state forward.
iVotesNG reports that some of the cases include the case filed at a Village Court in Orerokpe, across the Ethiope River in Delta State where his South South Vice Chairman sued him. Inside sources said the case was arranged to enable him get victory. But the Jude Okeke camp discovered and joined issues with him.
Oye also went to another Village Court in a remote town called Azere in Bauchi with his Deputy National Chairman North who sued him in an arranged suit so they can get judgment in secret for him to be declared Chairman and Soludo declared as Governorship candidate. The Jude Okeke group stormed Bauchi and joined issues with him, the case was caught up with vacation and still pending in Bauchi High Court sitting in Azare.
Oye went back to Appeal Court Asaba through one Mr. Mic Adams that used to fight him, they filed an exparte application that will be used to affirm Oye and Soludo and Jude Okeke discovered it and stormed the court and filed counter applications and Oye fled and abandoned the suit.
Oye went to 3 High Courts in Awka with same applications all in arrangee suits with his Legal Adviser, Deputy Chairman and House member suing him.
Oye used his party official in owerri to sue Jude Okeke to obtain behind the back judgment but Okeke stormed the court and joined issues and eventually defeated Oye’s agent and they turned back to attack the judgment of an ambush case they filed.
Edozie Njoku working on Oye’s prompting and principle of common enemy went to a remote court in Obehi Ukwa Abia state near the banks of the Azumiri River and Golf of Guinea waters and filed a suit to ambush Jude Okeke, Okeke stormed the court and countered them and the matter which has been overtaken by Kano appeal hearing has been slated for judgment.
