Twenty four hours after its online portal went live, Nigerians have commended what they described as improvement in the technology deployed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the going Continuous Voter Registration (CVR)
Statistics released by the Commission showed that in the first 24 hours, 59,331 accounts where created, 42, 211 applications were received; 11,117 Nigerians reviewed their voter record.
Nigerians took to Facebook to commend the Commission to the innovation.
Reacting, Olusegun Salmon, wrote, “Great work by common sense initiative. I had my information reviewed and updated, got my transfer completed and appointment given for biometric capturing.”
Another Nigerian, Husseini Madu Alkaramy wrote, “That’s very nice. Something reasonable would be achieved with this development. Keep it up and make Nigeria better.”
Opeyemi Abdulrrahman wrote, “Brilliant! Truely, you have intelligent and good network technicians.”
Adeyemi Amusan wrote: Kudos to your website developers for the portal! I am surprised that your in-house engineers could come up with a very responsive and easy to navigate website. It seems INEC has joined NASIMS and Npower with responsive websites. That is great!
