A faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Jude okeke is currently holding its primary election for the Anambra governorship election.
iVotesNG reports that the governorship primaries started few hours ago after Victor Oye failed to use a Delta State High Court order to stop Jude okeke led APGA leadership from proceeding with the primary.
The Court while quashing the order, warned the Victor Oye faction not to mislead the court again.
The court ruling therefore paved the way for the Jude okeke led APGA to kick start the primary.
Current member of the House of Reps Hon.Chuma Umeoji is reportedly leading other contenders.
The venue is jam-jam-packed with thousands of APGA leaders and delegates from the 326 wards with over 11 members of the House of Assembly and Gov.Obiano appointees in attendance.
